Senior Cloud Platform Developer

At KubiQo, we don’t rely on hyperscalers. We’re building a sovereign, EU-native cloud platform from core infrastructure to orchestration and automation. As a Senior Cloud Platform Developer, you won’t be spinning up managed services. You’ll be architecting, automating, and scaling the cloud platform itself. If you get excited about building the underlying layers that others deploy on, this is your playground.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop the foundational components of the KubiQo platform

• Engineer and maintain core infrastructure services: compute, storage, networking, identity, security

• Work hands-on with open technologies like Kubernetes, Open Tofu, SUSE tooling, and Exoscale infra

• Automate everything. From provisioning to lifecycle management, using Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps patterns

• Build scalable, resilient abstractions that power cloud-native workloads

• Collaborate with our small, senior team to shape KubiQo’s architecture, roadmap, and standards

What you bring

• 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure development, or platform teams

• Deep understanding of cloud primitives (networking, storage, IAM, scheduling, virtualization)

• Proven ability to build or extend cloud platforms or internal developer platforms

• Strong skills in Infrastructure-as-Code (Open Tofu, Crossplane, Pulumi, etc.) and Linux systems engineering

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes at the platform level. Not just as a workload target

• Bonus points for experience with SUSE stack, Exoscale, or building sovereign or compliant infrastructures
